Author’s Dinner

Quintessencia created a special event with a Hindu feel for Salman Rushdie and 50 guests. To enhance the theme of "Celebrating Literature," we created a beautiful, cozy setting where guests would have plenty of space to interact and share their ideas. The cocktail hour featured passed hors d’oeuvres, and the dinner featured a vegetarian and non-vegetarian menu to cater to the special needs of many Hindu guests. The famous writer captivated the audience while everyone enjoyed the food. The dessert was a true New York treat: mini-cheesecakes served over a passion fruit sauce with white chocolate coconut truffles from Knipschildt Chocolatier and fresh slices of star fruit.

A Fourth of July in Woodstock

Woodstock is a legendary place to relax and enjoy the sounds of music and nature. At an incredible property lost in the woods, Quintessencia treated 25 guests to an all-American barbeque. Food included a summer buffet of salads, grilled meats and fish, fresh fruit pies and ice cream. Watermelon martinis and music set the stage for guests to eat, drink, swim, chat, and dance all night long.

A Picnic in Central Park

Quintessencia helped seal the union of two people in love with a romantic picnic in Central Park. At the very same spot where they exchanged their first kiss, Quintessencia provided a meal based on the lovers’ favorite foods, complete with flowers and drinks. The highlight was a mini-chocolate mousse cake, topped by a white orchid on which a beautiful ring was waiting, wrapped in rice paper and fresh banana leaves.

A Family Passover

Passover is a very important celebration for Jewish families and is filled with beautiful food traditions and readings. Quintessencia gathered the favorite family recipes to create a kosher menu in accordance with Jewish traditions and the rules of the celebration.

Flowers helped celebrate the renewal of spring, and a beautiful Passover dessert buffet provided a very special moment.

A Christmas at Bergdorf Goodman

Quintessencia organized a magical cocktail hour at Bergdorf Goodman, one of the most beautiful and sophisticated stores in New York. Leveraging the white store decorations, we served hors d’oeuvres from sliver trays topped with fresh moss and white rose tips. Tables were outfitted with beautiful white tablecloths and long branches of ivy going all the way down to the floor. With a touch of golden spray, delicious passed hors d’oeuvres and lots of French Champagne it was a magical evening.
